Spiritless Kentucky 74 Non-Alcoholic Bourbon Maple Leaf Cocktail Recipe
When one thinks of Kentucky bourbon, they most likely think of enjoying a rich, smoky glass neat or on the rocks. Outside of the occasional Mint Julep around the Derby, bourbon just doesn’t have the same reputation as a base for interesting cocktails as many other spirits do.
But that doesn’t mean it can’t be done…
In fact, with its robust, unique flavor profile, bourbon makes for a wonderful cocktail spirit if treated correctly. And for those of us looking to enjoy bourbon without the buzz, the recent launch of Spiritless Kentucky 74 makes it possible to explore the wide world of bourbon cocktails without the alcohol.
Made in a real Kentucky distillery where the alcohol is removed via a special reverse distillation process, Spiritless Kentucky 74 is one of the most talked about and well-reviewed non-alcoholic spirits on the market right now (you can check out our full Spiritless Kentucky 74 review here). And today we’re going to show you how to use this alcohol-free spirit to craft a Non-Alcoholic Bourbon Maple Leaf Cocktail.
Incorporating real maple syrup and lemon juice to counteract the rich smokiness of the bourbon, this mocktail sips just like a traditional cocktail, boasting a huge flavor profile that you don’t typically see in most alcohol-free mixed drinks. So, if you’re looking for something special to enjoy, look no further than our Spiritless Kentucky 74 Non-Alcoholic Bourbon Maple Leaf Cocktail Recipe:

I’m impressed! I do still drink alcohol, but have been curious about trying NA spirits and after trying and failing at an old fashioned using Kentucky 74 (it was gross — I’m not convinced this brand can stand up in a whiskey forward drink). So, I decided to see what the Internet had to say. This is essentially a whiskey sour and it’s great! My partner is a big skeptic of NA drinks and a lover of real alcohol, and he, too, gave it a thumbs up. I recommend adding some bitters to take it up a notch.
