Non-Alcoholic Watermelon Mocktail Mojito Recipe
As we talked about in our Non-Alcoholic Virgin Mojito Recipe, there are few cocktails as famous and well-liked around the globe as the Mojito. And for good reason. With the perfect balance of citrus, sugar, cooling mint, and warm rum, it’d be hard to come up with a better, more refreshing blend of ingredients.
But that’s not going to stop us from trying!
More specifically, we’re going to explore a twist on the classic non-alcoholic Mojito using another favorite fruit of ours: watermelon. Now, there are plenty of great recipes for watermelon mocktails out there. But a lot of them end up being a bit too sweet for our taste. Which is why we thought it would make sense to take a balanced drink we know and love, and bring in some fresh watermelon flavor.
For our Non-Alcoholic Watermelon Mocktail Mojito Recipe, we’re sticking pretty close to the classic, combining alcohol-free rum (in this case, Lyre’s White Cane Spirit Non-Alcoholic Rum), lime juice, a bit of sugar, and plenty of fresh mint. The only real deviation is our addition of some freshly blended watermelon chunks and some maraschino cherries for garnish, giving this watermelon mocktail an even brighter pop of color.
While we may be a bit biased, we honestly think this is one of the best fruit-filled non-alcoholic cocktails we’ve ever crafted. With the freshness of the fruit and the mint, this non-alcoholic watermelon mojito goes down super smooth, and is incredibly refreshing.
