Review: Kin Euphorics Spritz
Spend any time at all exploring the non-alcoholic drinks space, and it won’t be long before you stumble across Kin Euphorics.
One of the most talked about brands on the market, Kin’s approach to an alcohol-free life is decidedly different from most other brands. Instead of replicating your favorite category of drink in an alcohol-free form, Kin is revolutionizing an entirely new space all their own: euphorics.
Of course, with our endless curiosity to explore new drinks that can help individuals live an alcohol-free or sober-curious lifestyle, we couldn’t wait to give Kin a try. So, we ordered their most popular ready-to-drink blend – Kin Euphorics Spritz – and sat down to review our first experience with this new style of social cocktail.
Here’s how it went…
First things first, what is a euphoric?
Like you, there was one question that immediately came to mind the first time we heard of Kin: what exactly is a euphoric?
After some research, we learned that “euphorics” is simply the term Kin has given its proprietary blend of ingredients. This blend – a special mix of adaptogens, nootropics, and botanics – is engineered to provide the drinker a focused state of relaxation…without alcohol. All bliss, no buzz.
As Kin’s founder and “Chief Euphorics Officer” Jen Batchelor puts it, “We believe in achieving bliss by working with the biochemistry of the individual, not against it. Our blend of rhodiola rosea (a powerful adaptogen) and functional herbs that are calming to the nervous system work to balance adrenals and your endocrinology which helps pave the way for nootropics like citicoline, gaba, and tyrosine to support cognition and deliver a subtle rise of focused relaxation.”
If this sounds a bit like your high school science class, you’re not alone. We had the same thought. But a quick look at the nutritional label on the Kin Euphorics Spritz reveals plenty of familiar, all-natural ingredients such as hibiscus, ginger, clove, cinnamon, Reishi mushroom, and saffron, plus a handful of supplements that you’d find on the back of a daily multivitamin.
Simply put, euphorics seem to more closely resemble a dietary supplement than any sort of alcohol or drug. Which led us to our next question…can drinking Kin really create a state of bliss?
Unboxing Kin Euphorics Spritz
Before we could dive into our Kin Euphorics Spritz, we first had to find it. Though Kin is offered in retail locations in a dozen or so cities across the U.S., we opted instead to order directly through their official website. The process was seamless, and the beverage arrived at our front door in a matter of days.
The first thing you’ll notice when opening up your Kin order is the beautiful packaging. Elegant yet approachable, modern yet timeless, Kin has absolutely nailed their branding. Which is more important that many may realize. For decades, non-alcoholic drinks were something to hide at social gatherings. A NA beer quickly poured into a pint glass. A lime wedge added to a soda so no one would “know”. Unfortunately, wanting to be social without alcohol has traditionally meant disguising behavior.
In order for us to create a future where alcohol is truly a choice (and not a social requirement), alcohol-free drinks need to be out in the open. They must be seen, acknowledged, and celebrated, so that others who are sober-curious are given the courage and social support they need to break free from alcohol themselves.
Kin does a fantastic job in this regard. With its bold, bright colors and cute 8oz can, Kin Euphorics Spritz is something anyone would be proud to hold at a party, bar, or restaurant.
Now all that was left was to see if Kin tasted as good as it looked.
Kin Euphorics Spritz Review
The first thing you’ll notice when you open a Kin Euphorics Spritz is the fresh, fruity smell. Slightly reminiscent of fruit punch (though much more subtle), the aroma is quite appetizing, and will have you diving right in for that first sip.
While it may smell a bit like fruit punch, with your first taste it’s clear that Kin Euphorics Spritz is no juice. Complex, subtly sweet, and delicately carbonated, this alcohol-free cocktail is bright and refreshing, and it doesn’t take many sips to understand why this is such a fast-growing brand in the space.
Much like “euphorics” are their own unique category, the flavor of Kin Euphorics Spritz is its own unique category, too. Ginger is one of the loudest flavors in the bunch, but the notes of grape and citrus are there as well. And the spices added to the mix give this ready-to-drink NA cocktail a pleasantly warm finish.
While it definitely doesn’t sip like a traditional cocktail (or mocktail using non-alcoholic spirits), Kin Euphorics Spritz is quite delicious, and something we’d be happy to have in hand at any social gathering.
But Do the Euphorics Work?
Of course, we couldn’t finish our review of the Kin Euphorics Spritz without discussing the “bliss” promised by the brand. So, do euphorics actually work?
Yes, sort of.
Full disclosure: most of us on the YOURS team believe is the power of the placebo effect when it comes to non-alcoholic drinks. The human brain is the most complex, powerful organism on the planet, and its ability to alter itself in different situations is unsurpassed. Much like the feeling of drinking champagne at a New Year’s Eve gala is different than drinking champagne out of a plastic cup on a Tuesday night at home, the state in which you consume non-alcoholic beer, wine, and cocktails can have a dramatic effect on the experience. And Kin is no exception.
That said, we most certainly felt something while drinking Kin Euphorics. It may have been the anticipation of promised bliss. It may have been the proprietary blend of adaptogens, nootropics, and botanics. Or most likely, a combination of the two. Regardless, a sort of “lightness” came over us roughly 15-20 minutes into enjoying our Kin Spritz. Not an alcohol-style buzz mind you, but more of a slight release, similar to how tension melts away as you ease into a really good massage. This feeling stuck with us for nearly an hour, and led to a state of relaxation that lasted well into the evening.
The Verdict
In the end, the experience of drinking Kin Euphorics Spritz was quite enjoyable. The product looks beautiful, tastes great, and does indeed bring on some level of promised bliss.
While it may still be some time until we come together in the large social groups where Kin Spritz will really shine, we’ll still be keeping the alcohol-free ready-to-drink cocktail stocked in our fridge for those nights we just need that release. And if you’re looking for something delicious and different to support your alcohol-free lifestyle, we highly recommend you do the same.

Kin Euphorics’ Kin Spritz sounds quite intriguing, and I was ready to order until I saw the price, $47 for an 8-pack. This works out to approximately $5.88 per 8-oz can. A local grocery store sells beer at $9.99 for a 6-pack, which works out to approximately $1.67 per 12-oz bottle. In an inflationary economy, this type of elite, snob-appeal pricing is insulting to the average consumer. So, NO.
